can anyone tell me where i can buy a good cue stick for tall people?
I've been going to the pool hall with my friends for awhile now using their sticks and the pool halls on occasion. After using them I've noticed that they all seem to be to short for me. I'm 6' 4" and i was wonder if there is anywhere online i can get a longer cue stick.

House cues are usually shorter than standard cues. They are usually 57", while a standard cue is 58", so pretty much anything you buy will be a little longer than a house cue. Some manufacturers offer 30" shafts as an option, which would make a standard cue 59". Browse around the following website, and you can see which ones have 30" shafts available (I don't know your price range, but Predator and Schon both did). You can also email or call them and ask which cues can be ordered with longer shafts, they are good about answering questions.
You can also have a custom cuemaker fit a longer shaft to an existing cue, or have him make a cue from scratch that's 59-60 inches. A shaft could cost anywhere from $100-$250 depending on who you go with and what you get, and a custom cue will cost at least $300, usually more.
On a side not, many people that think they need an extra long cue do not. A 6'4" person should be able to play comfortably with a 58" cue if their setup is correct. Many people will bridge too far from the cue ball, not have their back arm perpendicular to the cue, or have their body turned too parallel to the shaft and it will make it seem like the cue is too small. I would spend a little time working on my setup if I were you before spending too much money on an extra long cue that you may not need.
