I am selling a 7' pool table and am wondering what I should sell it for?
It is a Brunswick slate table, the thing is I was hoping the buyer could disassemble it and bring it out of my house himself. I realize this will mean lowering the price. The table is in superb condition, about ten years old. It has purple felt, if that means anything. The balls, rack and cue sticks will be included. Thanks in advance!

Gonna need a little more info, bro. It depends which model you have. For instance, a Scottsdale isn't worth the match to light it on fire with, but a table such as a Dominion or Gold Crown could be worth as much as 5k. Look underneath, on the one of the end panels (aka sill) you will see a silver sticker, it will have which model you have. If you post some good pics that would help me as well.
A 7' Bristol goes for around $1,395. I am assuming you have the drop pockets and 3/4" unframed slate as these came standard with the table. The gulley return (ball return) would add about $150 dollars and if you upgraded to the 1' framed slate, another $150 dollars. Very few people make these up-grades, the ball return would have to be ordered from Brunswick. typically, you can get 60% of the purchase price of the table. You should be able to get around $800 for it.Although the person buying the table usually pays for the removal, this shouldn't really be considered as part of the selling price. The company I work for moves a table for $375. This includes disassembly and re-assembly. We are one of the highest around, but in this business, you get what you pay for. Also, the purple cloth? More than likely the buyer will want it replaced. The standard Mali, D&R, or Champion (the felt type) cloth is about $150, Simonis around $225, and if they really want to get crazy Brunswick makes a high quality cloth called "Centennial" for about 300 bucks. I would suggest the have it moved and recovered by a factory authorized company. They guarantee their work and do a much better job than some guy with a truck. Another thing to consider is selling it to a dealer, however you won't get as much money for it, but it will get out of your house quicker. You could always donate it to a church or boys and girls club.All in all your buyer will be spending about $1200 for your 10 year old table.
