Best Budget Guest Friendly Hotels in Bangkok with Swimming Pools

Bangkok is not only well known for it's infamous red light districts. It's often sweltering heat and exhaustive humidity is probably what made "a hard man humble" as the song goes. So why not soak in a swimming pool during on often hot and steamy afternoon? Below you will find a few names of budget hotels in Bangkok with swimming pools. Best thing of all is that they are guest friendly too!

First off a guest friendly hotel is deemed as an hotel establishment that will not charge their guests a fee for inviting unregistered companions to a room. Some hotels in Bangkok's red light districts will not charge such a fee and then there are those that will. These fees usually range from Baht 500 to Baht 1000.

Most of these hotels are located along the red light districts and the price for rooms range from Baht 900 or even up to Baht 10,000 for the super luxury hotels.

But here we're going to focus on the budget guest friendly hotels with a nice affordable price tag. Most important of all is that all the hotels below will not only save you money and put you in relative comfort, they also have swimming pools to cool off during a hot afternoon.

The Woraburi Sukhumvit Resort and Hotel is located along Sukhumvit Soi 4, just past Nana Entertainment Plaza which is a tiny building housing a warren of go go bars. Though the Woraburi is an older hotel it is quite well maintained and the location and price can't be beat especially Baht 900 or so will get you a standard room with free breakfast. Keep in mind though standard rooms there are a bit small.

Just up the block from the Woraburi is the Royal Ivory Hotel. Also a older hotel yet quite adequate for jaunts into Nana red light district. A standard room there will set you back Baht 1299, also with a free breakfast included. Plus side is the rooms are quite spacious and worth every Baht.

Finally one of the most popular guest friendly hotel with a swimming pool has to be Majestic Suites. Now the swimming pool is tiny and it isn't even located on the hotel property. You would have to walk 5 minutes to its more expensive sister property called Majestic Grande. Even better is that the Majestic Suites is just right around the corner from Nana Entertainment Plaza go go bars as well as the always popular freelancer pick up spot - the Nana Hotel parking lot. The price tag - as of writing just Baht 1240 with breakfast included.
