Question about Players cues (and others)?
I've been doing a little research on Players cues. They are owned by Cue and Case Inc.. The website shows me a whole bunch of different cue companies when I click on "Two-Piece Cues". This includes McDormott and Viking. Are C&C inc. a manufacturer and retailer? I know Viking and McDormott have their own websites, so I don't think they are owned by C&C, but I'm not sure.
I do know Players, McDormott, and Viking all have lifetime warranties, which is not a common thing in the cue market. Then again, Scorpion's company, which is CueStix is a retailer too. Are all of these companies owned by a secret bigger company? And if so, why say one is junk and the other is gold? Aren't they all made in China anyways?
Finally, I'm about to buy the Players C970. It looks good. I never bought anything off Ozonebilliards though. Do they have a good reputation and does it really matter, because they are all owned by the man?
Players cues are a dood beginner/novice cue. I recommend players cues to most people looking for there first cue. Viking and Mcdermott are owned by there own respective companies. Viking and Mcdermott are american made cues, I'm not sure about the others though. All four of the cue brands you named are good brand names, none of them are "junk", though Viking and Mcdermott are higher quality. Ozonebilliards is a trust worthy website, just look over the return policy. Just in case the cue is damaged on arrival.
