What is the black coating on a 4x8 sheet of metal and whats the easiest removal for it?
We are grinding the metal by hand grinder to get the black coating off but it takes allot of time. Anyone know of a domestic chemical that can be purchased locally that removes it fairly quickly. Person with the best solution gets Best Answer. Thank you.
Sounds like a rust coating. Grind away until you get the vast majority of it off. You might be able to clean the last bit of residue off with mineral spirits, but if it is an undercoating, it was made to stand up to harsh chemicals.

US $126.65
